What we do...........
Car Shows
We have two car shows each year. First is Our For Veterans Memorial Day Show at the Mitchell Creek Park in Big Rapids. The second is a Show in Downtown Big Rapids MI Sponsored by The Mecosta County Convention & Visitors Bureau with the help of other area parteners. All of the net proceeds from our shows go to our Veterans and other local charities.
Car Cruises
There are many car cruises throughout the year. Our club participates on a voluntary basis. Car cruises consist of local nursing homes, hospitals, A&W Big Rapids, downtown Big Rapids, charity events, and our "End of the Year Color Tour.
Giving back to the community
In 2020 The River Valley Car Club of Big Rapids MI has made a donation of $1100.00 to local AMVETS post 1941 Veterans relief fund, along with $300.00 each to five area charities ( Angles of Action, Big Rapids Fire Department, Mana Pantry in Big Rapids and Reed City and Wise). The local Car Club was able to achieve this wonderful level of giving with the support of caring sponsors like Meijers and many others, also the area classic and collector vehicle enthusiast for bringing out their cars and Club members that did the work to support the 2020 Labor Day car Show.

You don't need to have an old car or hot rod to join. We are a charitable club that gives back to our local community. Our meetings are on the second Tuesday the of month.
